How many coats do I need for competition?
Most competitors need 2–3 coats. We typically apply the first coat 2 days before, second coat the day before, and a final touch-up coat on competition morning. The exact schedule depends on your division and desired darkness.
Do you do NPC and IFBB shows?
Yes, Jessica has experience with NPC, IFBB, and local bodybuilding competitions across North Carolina. She understands the stage lighting requirements and judges' expectations for each division.
Can you come to my hotel before the show?
Absolutely. Jessica brings the full mobile setup to your hotel room or the competition venue. Many competitors prefer this over shared backstage tanning stations.
What about bikini competitors vs. bodybuilders?
Different divisions require different intensity levels. Bikini competitors typically want a rich, warm glow while bodybuilders need maximum darkness for muscle definition. Jessica tailors the formula and number of coats accordingly.
How do I maintain my competition tan between shows?
For back-to-back shows, a maintenance coat between competitions keeps your color consistent. For shows more than a week apart, we recommend starting the process fresh.
Is the competition solution different from regular spray tan?
Yes. Competition solution has a significantly higher DHA concentration and different bronzer levels than our Signature Glow. It's formulated specifically for stage performance under bright lights.
